Coach Core Foundation was established in 2012 and are a charity that uses community sports apprenticeships to support young adults who live in challenging areas and who are not in employment, education, or training. Coach Core helps them change their future pathways and become a positive influence in communities that need sports provision most.

We are delighted to be helping Coach Core in their valuable work by donating a free training course to the charity every quarter and are really pleased to be helping them to inspire and motivate even more young people.

In early 2022 Capital started working closely with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (part of the Department for Transport) to develop two bespoke courses, Personal Impact and Effectiveness and Defusing Hostility. The audience for these courses are existing staff and those joining the DVSA as part of their initial training programme. Working collaboratively, both courses were designed to align to DVSA’s learning needs which were established by the DVSA Training Team and Capital Training. In 2021 Capital Training worked with Defence Digital (part of the Ministry of Defence) to support their move from a traditional approach to recruitment to an approach targeted on highly defined talent acquisition. We worked closely with Defence Digital to develop a two-day training course which meets their unique needs, while still embracing the key principles of the Civil Service Success Profiles approach, including strengths-based interviewing. The course has been successful in enabling learners to become effective interview panel members focusing on the Talent Acquisition model that Defence Digital specifically needed. We are delighted to have won a large project with Health Education England. Capital Training successfully tendered for this exciting project ‘HEE Manager development Programme’. Our initial service was to create three draft scripts and videos which formed part of the Management Development Programme.
